Introducing Liz Lipski

Liz Lipski, PhD, CCN, CNS, CHN, holds a doctorate and is board certified in Clinical Nutrition, Holistic Nutrition, and as a Nutrition Specialist. Dr. Lipski is the Academic Director of Nutrition and Integrative Health Programs at Maryland University of Integrative Health (formerly the Tai Sophia Institute). She is a faculty member of the Institute for Functional Medicine, and
the Autism Research Institute. Liz has been working in the field of integrative and functional medicine for over 30 years.

She is the author of Digestive Wellness, The Digestion Connection, Digestive Wellness for Children, and Leaky Gut Syndrome.

Dr. Lipski is a on the Advisory Boards for the Ceres Foundation, Food as Medicine, and the Autism Help Alliance. Throughout the year she does frequent media interviews. Liz was a Nutritional Commentator for the PBS TV cooking show Harvest Eating, hosted the nutrition column for Pilates Style Magazine, and co-hosted a nutrition radio show. Numerous magazine interviews include: Newsweek, Women’s World, Alternative Health, Let’s Live, Men’s Health, Natural Pharmacist, Bottom Line Health, and Vegetarian Times. In addition to her own books, Dr. Lipski has written a chapter for Integrative Gastroenterology, and has been interviewed for Rodale’s Alternative Cures, The Women’s Doctor’s Guide to Alternative Medicine, and others.

Through her work at Maryland University of Integrative Health Dr. Lipski is preparing the next generation of nutritionists. And through her teaching activities at conferences throughout the year she helps current health practitioners grow in their understanding of clinical nutrition. She also offers small group mentoring courses for new practitioners and Advanced Nutrition Forums for experienced practitioners through her company Innovative Healing Inc.

She resides in Laurel, Maryland.
